Wendy Bigcharles-Gaucher

Wendy Bigcharles-Gaucher has been collaborating with the Canadian Institute for Workplace Bullying Resources (CIWBR) in advocating to advance legislation and its implementation for workplace psychological harassment and violence since 2016. She recently completed academic research on medical process responding to the specific injury caused by workplace psychological violence. Based on this research and CIWBR’s experience with medical response processes throughout Canada, Wendy and CIWBR are now advocating for legislation clarifications and systemic knowledge and skills building to assist more effective injury recovery and reduction of this workplace violence.
Wendy’s professional experience in the energy sector, and includes the area of communications, community engagement, training development, regulatory and corporate governance, leadership and systems advancement. Social advocacy and community are central to initiatives Wendy participants in and leads. Having experienced the challenge of funding her own responses in dealing with a workplace psychologcial violence campaign, Wendy is committed to CIWHV's mission assisting others to access necessary resources.
