Contents of all the information shared here will be confidential. Both verbal and written information will not be exchanged unless we are authorized to do so.
Noted exceptions are as follows:
Duty to warn and protect: if a client discloses that they plan to harm themselves or another, the mental health profession is required to warn the intended victim and report to legal authorities. In case in which the client discloses or implies a plan for suicide, the health care professional is required to notify legal authorities and make reasonable attempts to notify the family. All forms of abuse must be reported.
